ITINERARY:

Day 0: Arrival in Lombok & Transfer to Senaru

  • Upon arrival at Lombok Praya Airport or any other port in Lombok (Lembar, Bangsal, Teluk Kodek), our representative will warmly greet you with a sign bearing your name.

  • We'll provide comfortable private transportation to your lodge in Senaru, Villa Bambu Rinjani, for your overnight stay before the trek.

  • Optional Activity (if time permits): Enjoy a guided visit to the beautiful Sindang Gile and Tiu Kelep Waterfalls, a refreshing experience before your trek.

  • In the evening, your experienced trekking guide will conduct a detailed briefing, explaining the trekking plan, safety guidelines, and answering any questions you may have. This is also when you can prepare for your trek.

Day 1: Trek to Senaru Crater Rim

  • 6:30 AM: Wake up and enjoy a hearty breakfast at your accommodation.

  • After breakfast, we will drive you to the Rinjani Trek Center in Senaru for registration.

  • Around 8:00 AM: The trek commences! We'll begin our ascent through the lush tropical rainforest, rich with diverse flora, vibrant birdlife, and colorful butterflies.

  • Rest Stop: We'll take a break at Pos 2 Montong Satas shelter (1,500m) for refreshments, including tea and biscuits.

  • We continue our trek for another approximately 2 hours to Pos 3 Mondokan Lolak (2,000m), where a delicious lunch will be served.

  • Following lunch, we'll embark on the final approximately 2-hour climb to the Senaru Crater Rim (2,641m).

  • Experience the breathtaking panoramic views! The Senaru Crater Rim offers the second most spectacular vista on Rinjani, with stunning perspectives of the crater lake and the surrounding landscape. You'll also have the chance to witness a magnificent sunset over Mount Agung in Bali and observe the smoke rising from the active volcano by the lake.

  • We will set up camp at the Senaru Crater Rim for the night, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the natural beauty.

Day 2: Descent to Senaru Village

  • After enjoying breakfast with the beauty of the sunrise over the crater, we will begin our descent back down to Senaru village through the tropical forest.

  • Keep an eye out for the rare black monkey that occasionally inhabits this area.

  • The descent will take approximately 5 hours, with opportunities for rest stops and lunch along the way.

  • Upon arrival back in Senaru village, our transportation will be waiting to take you to your next destination in Lombok, such as Lombok Praya Airport, Lembar Port, Bangsal harbor, Teluk Kodek, or your accommodation in Mataram, Senggigi, Kuta Lombok, or the Gili Islands (Trawangan, Meno, Air).
